Waiting on Information on Last Stop Because store closed today and X Mas

I had customer refuse load because I did not have lift gate on trailer back when I work for Landstar. The Landstar agent said they did not request lift gate trailer. The solution was I took the load to roadway terminal and they unloaded my trailer and they were going to deliver the load later. So that may be a solution, find a XPO or R&L or see who has local terminal that can take last part of load and deliver it later. It probably be cheaper for everyone and you can go home like planned.

 

Good on you brother, glad u got it figured out. Like you said crap like that is the worst part of trucking. I remember @Big Road Skateboard had a similar situation couple years back with a load of pipe. Nothing worse than people that just makes everyonea life a living hell.
