From what I know, it no longer exists. But, back in the mid 80's, it seems all of us guys running cross-border freight stopped there. The food was decent, and the view of the lake from there was great! It was also a fuel stop for JB's "Canadian dedicated" drivers, so a lot of us went there. If the diner was too pricey for you (with the 8%PST and 7%GST added...), you could always go down the access road a ways and find not only a big Tim Hortons, but also a Harvey's/Chalet Suisse fast food place as well.
I was once approached by another JB driver on the same run as I was (Automotive Industries in norther VA to Ford Oakville, for the Windstar line..) who suggested I could make an extra $200 each return trip. All I had to do was leave my trailer doors unsealed (going back with empty interior panel racks...), spend 1 hour in the restaurant, head across the Peace Bridge crossing, drive down to the truckstop on the Salamanca Reservation, go in there for an hour, and I'd get an envelope with $100 at each stop.
Who knows? I could've become a big-time smuggler. Or I could've ended up in federal prison, like he did.....
