Reminds me... The kind of dog you usually find dumped roadside; in the ditch running water sometimes, is not usually accompanied by "papers".
But, I have had the occasion to come by a couple of strays that turned out good. Followed me around. chewed up a snake or two in time, knew which tree the squirrel went up, and if I said sic.em.., you best be glad I was not nodding my head toward you...

    I will repeat..
You find an old sick crippled dog in the ditch, you gather him up and feed and treat him to health.. That dog will never bite you...
And that is the primary difference between a dog and a man... (Even more true now than when I grew up noticing it.)

I was hoping you would come out of Bullhauler retirement this year and possibly blow my doors off one day in western Missouri as your headed west. Unless I see you coming up behind me, turn the power box up a couple notches and give you a run for your money. Wait, that is the old me and now I will likely just wave as you fly by me.

It’s hard to blow any doors off with a lil ol 4 an a quarter

After March I would pay attention on 60 to Springfield, 44 to Joplin, then 171 to 400 to Witchita cause you just never know. At Witchita it becomes a wild card. Hopefully 135 to 81. Then bust across the trees at Beloit to western Nebraska

My days of trucking may be done in March, but if the bank is slow in getting my rigs buyer his money I will look for you in Springfield. I am usually there once a week or so now.

Egbert is suppose to buy us another pot load end of January unless the market really gets outta whack. I gotta wait till then to see if this dog is gonna make it in a truck or not.

I figure he’ll pull em outta the Lex barn again
