I promise I was only asking for earthquakes and floods for California, not the entire PNW.
Toomanybikes, The_vett, beastr123 and 3 others Thank this. -
Darn. Beat me to it. Thought I was gonna see a recall telling me to just drive it to a scrap yard and recycle it into Peterbuilt bumpers or somethingDiesel Dave, Numb and Cattleman84 Thank this.

It looks total pandalerium. Dogs and cats living together. Husbands liking their mother in laws. Islam renouncing violence. Total insanity.
The_vett and WesternPlains Thank this. -
How can it be like clockwork if it is overdue? Even being semi-clockwork and somewhat overdue, it would seem to be a wise decision to relocate inland sooner rather than later.The_vett and WesternPlains Thank this.

Maybe the chinese will take full advantage of this and ride in on the big wave and finally take full control of this country.
The_vett and WesternPlains Thank this. -
This really big one , they call it, that is already overdue. You can google THE REALLY BIG ONE....
and you will have no problem finding more than you even want to know, unless you live in the PNWET as okiedokie calls it.
I think that the San Andreas , and all the faults on up to the Cascadia are one and the same or at the least connect by other faults.
Just like our freeway / highway system, we can call it i-5 and it connects to so many that connect blah blah blah. It is all very interesting.
The last one we had caused a deadly tsunami in Japan.....but I don't want to spoil the story. It is too good. Very scary , very real.Numb Thanks this. -
W. R. Hurst would be envious of that sensationalistic piece. Just about every month I see some report or another about it. Even from the less disreputable sources, like PBS and FOX, are just as sensationalistic
It's amazing how ignorant the vast majority of the populace is about the places they choose to live.
The hand wringing Karen types that post responses to stories about this are just amazing (in the most negative inference possible). If it's that bad pack up your crap and move to a safer location.
About the only thing I got out of suffering through about half of that monotonous crap was..... I should probably move installing a generator up on the to do list. Electricity from the grid is one of the few things I currently rely on from the outside world.Speedy356, D.Tibbitt, The_vett and 1 other person Thank this. -
About fear and moving, most people are not in any shape to move their family any place. Most live paycheck to paycheck, and that doesn't give us any wiggle room.
As for the fear, like my Aunt Winnie taught me......vett, you have no reason to fear dying, because the good lord is going to take you wherever and whenever it's your time.Speedy356, Blu_Ogre, hope not dumb twucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
