Seneca mill in Oregon shipped green dimensional lumber that was insanely heavy.

Some years ago I got a load of hemlock on a super train and the forklift operator mistakenly loaded 4 out of 9 lifts of green instead of KD.
I think I remember I was only 20k (160k instead of 140k) over gross and needed to dodge 10 weigh stations between Surrey BC and Winnipeg MB.
Many were only open bankers hours but a couple were 16 or 18 hours open.

IMG_3370.jpeg IMG_3374.jpeg Well, that’s probably the last load for 2025.
Been telling them these 10,000’+ loads are too heavy, so I decided to find out just how heavy.
That’s right at 58,000 lbs on the deck. A lot of flatbed guys would be approaching 90,000 with that load.
Makes it work climbing Spencer and Cagle Mountains! (@kwswan knows the terrain)

You're not wrong there. Not only will you see how she pulls but you can find out how good your Jake brakes are.

Yeah. Full of fuel, MAYBE 28,500. 1/4 tank of fuel, I can hit 27,000. Loose some of the paraphernalia I carry I can get down around 26,500-26,750. IMG_8852.jpeg
That’s a significant amount of “stuff”.

Do you tend to carry all of that with you all the time?
I tend to leave everything I’m not using on a given load at the yard. Granted, I am home every day and mostly don’t need my accessories beyond straps, winch bar and edge protectors/
