There's a vast difference between a broken down truck on the side of the road and a massive rollover accident like in the OP. Let the mega call roadside assistance, that's none of my business, but if somebody needs immediate assistance I'm stopping. Especially when it's a lonely road.

Sure glad that we don't see any truckers out there making stupid moves, or being full of anger....
They say though, that if someone passes us, then they are an idiot. If they are slower, then they are in our way and must be a jerk. We are all wired that way and want others to cooperate. Albeit....seems I remember something about needing to be a professional. I read that somewhere....
I do know, another driver on the radio told me, about 45 years ago, after I made a prideful comment about another trucker off the freeway during a snow storm...."be grateful it wasn't you."
Only by God's grace do any of us get through a day.rolls canardly, OldeSkool and Powder Joints Thank this. -
Sounds like the kind of #### that turned China into hell. It's all "got mine" and ignore those in need with zero trust. I hear complaints all the time about how there's no community or neighborly acts and then everybody acts like this.

Once, when I was as green as the R model Mack I drove, '78 or '79, I pulled a 28ft. dump trailer delivering sand to golf courses in Wis, Ill, Ind. Mich. going across Indiana, 2 lane, loaded, came up on a old guy going about 45, I pull out to pass, I get my trailer up to him,,,he speeds up, I had to abort the pass. He did that twice, on the 3rd attempt, he starts to speed up, I put my right signal on, and gradually move over. All I saw in my mirror was huge cloud of dust. I never stopped either. I can sympathize with drivers that say, "got what you had coming", I wasn't much different, but as tough as it is, these aren't robots or outer space creatures, they are someones family member, not faceless nobodies heck bent on making your life miserable. Driving a truck is incredibly stressful, and it builds , until someone finally wipes out in front of you, a gratification of sorts. Was I wrong putting that old guy in Indiana in the ditch? Of course I was and that haunts me to this day, I should have backed off, or pulled over, take a leak, something, that guy would have gotten to his grandkids party, or whatever. In the next 34 years of driving a truck,, I never did anything like that again, and neither should you.rolls canardly and OldeSkool Thank this.

If you remember what county and state it was in you might be able to find information on it, especially if it was a fatal accident.
