I decided to make tomorrow Monday, a post-Christmas ride is a rare chance at altitude!

Finished the year with bedcover Wednesday! Some haul them with bedcovers backwards on top, but I don’t trust them regardless if they stay on others folks trucks. IMG_6410.jpeg

I've had to roll up covers as a last resort before, but don't even like doing that! Kind of like toppers... I'll put a metal, bolted-down, with metal door latches, topper backed on #1 as a last resort. But I see guys doing it with cheap plastic ones far too often.

Fortunately the Tacoma on 1 is only 13’9 as it sits and is much easier than a Tundra on my 1 deck. If necessary I could hold it back a few inch’s and lower the bicycle deck down to get 13’6. Occasionally I will get excited briefly when I walk up to a pickup with no bed cover only to see it has a rubber bed mat! I used to roll those up and put it in the back floorboard, but I don’t want to risk scuffing a seat back. Now I just drive them on and roll with it.

    Hammer166 Thanks this.

@Hammer166 I got one of these fancy sticks for measuring stuff for Christmas. Is this how this thing works? IMG_6469.jpeg
