Hey fellas, as the title states. I just bought this truck the other day n it has a 3406E, runs great, but none of these work. Im gonna check out the clutch switch first, is there a good way to check that with a multi meter? Same with tach sensor on the bellhousing?
94 FLD120 No tach, cruise or Jake's working

Ohm the switch, you should be able to see it open and close.
Tach sender should be in the 700-1200 ohm range IIRC. The wiring often had issues where it runs up the side of the flywheel housing.
Set your meter to 20 ohms for the clutch switch, you just want to see it go open, and close.
Set it at 2k ohms for the tach senderMarmon110P Thanks this. -
There’s a big electronic plug for the transmission…should be towards the top on one side. You can see it from the ground. Check to see if it’s still plugged in.

What all does that plug operate?

Everything that you listed in the title.

Post a picture of your truck. FLD is a much better truck than the Century or Columbia which replaced it.
beastr123 Thanks this. -
Can you idle it up with the cruise switches?
If you can, the problem might be your TPS not showing released.
That would be only for the jakes and cruise.
Ran into that with a series 60 Detroit once. -
Mine was not a FLD but it has a separate brake switch for the brake lights and one next to it to run all the stuff you mentioned…. Well not the tach….. but the rest of the stuff….
