The first time I heard about UTI was Jim Bauer talking about his mom getting one. It might have been his mother in law. Listening to Opie and Anthony on Sirius while hauling crude oil in West Texas. His mom never recovered completely. They didn't realize what it was quickly enough.

I got mine used as well, it is a peace officer shrine edition. Cop that bought it new ran it for 30,000 kms when the tensioners grenaded and she ate her pigs. I had a buddy that worked at Gasoline Alley HD in Red Deer and was on the lookout for an 02 that I wanted and this one came in on trade with the blown motor. Bought it for cheap and he built the engine for me, did the SE 95" kit, with ported factory heads, 205 cams, and hi compression pop top pistons. Put the SE race tuner on it and had it dyno'd there with a conservative tune and it made 93hp and 100 ft/lbs. With the single pipe and different cams he had it up to 100/120 but I went back to rinehart duals (looks better) and a bit better longevity for 2 up touring. Motor hasn't been touched since but pretty much everything else has been gone through as of 2021.
