Had that happen making footing holes with a 10 inch auger. The darn thing was going in and found clay. Went right down to the knuckle like a darn screw in a board! Had to get a 4 foot pipe wrench and unscrew it by hand. Even when it came out (2 hours later) the clay was in the fins so tight had to whack it out with the claw on my hammer. Good times

Misses carpenter is a nurse in palliative care, it’s quite common in older folks and can hide itself quite well. Was really surprised when she explained to me some of the symptoms she’d seen associated with uti in older folksFriend, broke down plumber, JolliRoger and 11 others Thank this.

Went thru similar situation with my mom, long story short, she was diagnosed with early Alzheimer’s which within time it progressed. Very very sad to see us the family members watch it progress. We all knew though she didn’t have a clue that she was suffering. We all have her all our support. But really difficult to deal with. Hope the Mrs, is OK.exhausted379, 074344, broke down plumber and 14 others Thank this.

There's no way I would ever own a pickup with a gas engine again. I owned 2 other trucks the same as my 2023. A 2006 and 2015. I've only owned one car in my life. The rest were all trucks. All of them gas until 2006. They out perform the gas engines in terms of HP as well as fuel mileage. My 2023 currently has 15,309 on the odometer.Sons Hero, broke down plumber, Carpenter Scotty and 7 others Thank this.

While you’re not wrong, gas is cheaper than diesel. And gas engines don’t have the emissions issues that a newer diesel has. So they are about the same price to operate and there is less potential for emissions related problems. And gas is what 15k cheaper to purchase last I checked? Not saying you are wrong, just things to consider when purchasing.exhausted379, Sons Hero, broke down plumber and 15 others Thank this.

The company I work for also gets the extended warranty and the maintenance plan, we find it is quite a savings on the maintenance. It almost pays for itself just with oil and filter changes, let alone brakes and all the front suspension and steering parts we wear out every year (snow plowing).
How has your experience with the maintenance plan been? I have found the dealership we use has worked with us well to make sure stuff gets changed before it’s a problem. That being said the boss has bought around 15 vehicles there on the last 10 years.
I should add we trade them in at the same dealership when the extended warranty expires, they have an interest in them being looked after. The last 5 trade ins all went down to the states immediately for sale( I’m in canada)Friend, 074344, broke down plumber and 8 others Thank this.
