Some Class-A jobs want 2 years experience and some want new cdl school grads. You're overthinking this new career. It's not that complicated.
Some Class-A companies will hire you with that Class-B experience and give you a refresher course; happens every day.
Is trucking worth getting into it seems like a min wage job the first few years at least

I would sure tell you to go for it. Trucking has been good to me for quite a few years now. Even if your first year or two your options aren’t that great after that you can work into whatever you want to do and make some good money. For sure if you get into tanker hazmat or something like that.

Some drivers use a crockpot. Some cook whole chickens in a crockpot while they're driving, so it's ready to eat when they stop for a break.
