How is the tires? Get you by till it earns a set of caps?
Curious also. Are they ever/ Can one be/Is it practical, to rig a pump and engine on the pup, Sorta like a RGN neck deal.
Omit the piping to hitch / connections / hosing-piping to the lift. Could use it with other trucks in a pinch.

 

Well; if I was gonna do it, I'd give $100.00 for your start on it already. You got heat available?

 

Removed the other door frame from the cab today. Crazy the difference in pitting and corrosion between the driver's side and passenger side. Next to no pitting under the passenger side, guess it's not often anyone sat on that side.

The little aluminum piece under the door had so much corrosion built up under it most of the rivet heads popped off while I was tapping out the door frame. I'm definitely glad I am putting in the extra couple weekends to just strip it down and start new.

 

Well it's all intact other than mating the quick couplers, but I guess a guy could do that. It would be slow to get out and start a pony each time, and really difficult to spread.

Tires, it has super singles and some should be replaced. I guess I don't think it's worth trying to get too much out of them as it will be hard to limp it in to a tire store.

 

Oh yea, shop is insulated and heated so it’s nice working conditions….
