Not enough room. Biggest pannel i can fit up there wirh the tarp rolled is around 50 watts and would be a whole thing since mine is a sealing tarp. So goes over the cap and uses that bow to "lock" the tarp.
Ive used just about every square inch of top space worth a #### at this point.

Even have hood pannels ordered for it. I can always drill into my ferrings and put a pannel between them but it would be a ridgid one and a whole thing to add and support so not worth it. I can and likely will add some custom pannels to the ferrings to test the whole concept and if its crap, well better a cheap test then to drop thousands on my trailer. Figure my hood pannels were $700 for both and those were a weird 1 off shape. So a pair of much easier rectangles should be maybe $500? Which is not that expensive for a concept test.

For the price it might not be a bad deal. I would give it a try if you are willing to take a chance. It really just matters if you can park in the right areas.

What's the wattage on your roof? Me personally I would add a shore power charger to the system and run a harbor freight generator as a back up to recharge during resets. That is my plans anyway

How much was that turbo again for the MX13? Have a pesky suspicion I might be buying a new one at some point but no hard evidence yet. EGR was replaced last summer and I think the list price on it was around $3500.
I’ve heard the VGT actuators can get problematic on these if the works get too gunked up. -
Dont have the paperwork handy but i think i was out like 12k by the end of it all.Siinman Thanks this.

Well hell I’ll take two then.

Could be worse. You could have an X15 with 127k on it that looks like this.
Siinman Thanks this. -
Both dealers I called and asked were quoting around $8300. Seems a little ridiculous for a turbocharger assembly for a common truck engine. (We ain't fixing the ####### Space Shuttle here lol). Some of the prices they charge at these dealers are straight up insane though. ($500 for a hood strut that should cost about $150 anybody?)MattaCracker and Siinman Thank this.
