New CDL holder.
Upon applying for jobs, I was reminded of a speeding ticket thats on my MVR. 20 mph over and the ticket turns 3 years old April of '26.
What companies may give me a chance?
Thank you in advance!
Edit: Melton just said they can work with that.
Uh oh, New CDL holder with a 20mph over ticket.

You probably have more decent luck with the NASCAR circuit....

Trucking companies generally don't like drivers who have "heavy feet":

Schneider allowed one crazy speeding ticket last time I looked…few years ago.
Check their website.. -
“New CDL holder” means zero experience. If you had experience, you’d have more options. But since you don’t, and have a big ol driving award, you have to get your foot in the door somewhere.
If you think Western is beneath you, but need it to get started, sign up for their flatbed division and put your road name on the driver door under the window.blairandgretchen and Lonesome Thank this. -
CAUTION:
Schneider may take you....
...but don't kid yourself.
Don't think that their safety dept is any more "easy"....or lienient....than anyone else's.
As a brand new driver -- Schneider will expect A LOT out of you....& in a hurry.
Be sure you bring your " 'A' game" with you -- every day there (or elsewhere -- for that matter).
Been there, done that....

Construction equipment mover, cement truck, trash might have to do those until after April. Even if it’s class b. Then apply for a better job once it drops off.
OldeSkool, Trucker61016, Concorde and 1 other person Thank this.
