Mine was when I was just starting out "If you're a little overweight on the trailer...just slam on the brakes and shift that #### forward a couple feet"

I am sure he was serious.

I've always just ignored bad advice, I've got a good BS radar... That constantly probes the Cartesian Plane for BS... But what you reference is really bad advice from an idiot... I'm sure you just chuckled... Nevermind the freight claims.. right?? No biggie

If I did it, I do wonder what safety would have said when told them WHY I locked it up out of nowhere, after that set off the drive cam

In life? That aftershock is pretty weak and its perfectly fine to drink an entire bottle.

In trucking. "Cops dont care if you run 5 over"

Also that weight shift is actully real......for us end dumps. You can slide a good amount of material forward with a hard stop. Or at least make the piles colapse forward.

Lol, I don’t know if this qualifies as advice..but I was the first and last time I did what I was told.

Mom used to put those electric candles in the windows at Christmas time.
Well one morning my older brother took a bulb out and told me to stick my tongue in the socket “it feels cool” he said. Being 3-4 years old at the time I took the light socket challenge!. 57 years later I still remember it like it was yesterday.

If my brother had ever done that to me and I actually went through with it, we'd have both gotten a whuppin'. Him for being an arsehole and me for being dumb.

Go to law school and become a lawyer. Glad I ignored that advice.
