i finally think i found some problems impacting ltl and trucking
collective bargaing should be restored to its original purposes. done BY govt agency FOR govt agency jobs. in trucking this means ONLY post office. NO MORE ups collective bargaining.
things became corrupted with the task was qasi outsourced to teamsters union which is a nongovt agency and they were starting to use it in private sector which most times than not inferes with other laws in the private sector. it only makes sense for govt jobs which is noncompetitive jobs.
so teamsters shut down and responsibilities restored to original purposes and interalized to govt agencies. i think would be a big win for trucking.
similar is true with nmfta. but this is for assignment of freight codes and codes on carriers. it should never been qasi outsourced to nongovt agency named nmfta.
both nmfta and teamsters union headquarters are a few miles from the whitehouse.

This level of union bashing and thorough illiteracy go hand in hand. Cry more.
Sincerly,
A Proud Teamster. -
It never ceases to amaze me, the lengths that non-wealthy people will go to justify or advocate looking out for the company’s interests over their own.
UPS is a meat grinder. Being a Teamster is the single best way to be able to make that meat grinder palpable and translate that level of misery into a comfortable living.jmz Thanks this. -
Every single wide trailer dweller is a temporarily financially embarrassed billionaire. When they definitely get to the top, they don't want da gubment takin thur monies!

I can see that to a point IF we were talking about a mom and pop outfit that takes care of and looks out for their people.
But a company like FedEx that would cut you lose for breaking wind the wrong way deserves no such consideration.McUzi Thanks this.
