    All they had to do was shutdown but too many idiots can't say no...if they fire you you now have a lawsuit....

    Pa. is about the worse state when it comes to keeping the highways clean in the winter,.

    Yes. 30 years ago you’d see total lack of snow removal until the NY line where road would be scraped bare

    I well remember the sorry job that the state of Pa. does. I hit bad weatjer about Mt Cobb on 1-84 by time I made it to 1-81 southbound, it really got bad. Took me 4 hours to reach Harrisburg. Wrecks galore, not one salt or snow plow did I see. Going north on 1-81 one Sunday night, around Harrisburg trucks in the median, jacknifed and cars over the basnks. I stopped at the TA @ 77 exot. tjere was a state trooper there. I asked him, "when are you call to get the plows out here", his reply, "tomorrow morning, if we call them out now, we would have to pay overtime"

    The last two trips I’ve made across Pennsylvania recently with snow was moving and I saw snow plows everywhere going up and down the interstate… I don’t know if recently they may decided to get aggressive with it or what not
