And I guarantee you, this device that “monitors if a driver is falling asleep” Will be just like the rest of all this high-tech crap it’ll malfunction and cause all kinds of issues and then you’ll be facing lawsuits. Like the collision avoidance systems that slam on their brakes in the middle of the freeway for absolutely no reason. We are not your test subjects out Here we are truck drivers. You want to make the industry safer? Get the garbage driving garbage equipment off the roads. Get the fake fraudulent CDL’s off the road. I don’t want AI, watching my facial expressions when I’m driving. Furthermore, I’ve been doing this long enough to recognize when I’m too tired to drive. And here’s a simple concept for you. When I’m too tired to drive? I simply pull over and take a rest. Imagine that.
So they answer your question with a broadbrush, most of us out here don’t want more technology, we don’t want more crap on these trucks. It just creates distractions. Get good drivers on the road and leave us alone, we will do the rest.
