    No APU, I'm still considering my options. May make my own.

    gears, not trying to be a damper but if you're gonna keep it for awhile get ready for wiring problems. the 387 is a totally different animal as far as wiring, there are multi pin connectors for everything that get wet/corroded and cause lots of problems, there is a brain box behind the glovebox that controls everything. some have another down on the frame. guages are connected to the box behind glovebox, guages go crazy start sweeping on thir own, all kinds of crazy stuff, so good luck, if you got a good 1 good, if you got a bad 1 I'm sorry for ya. I workd for peterbilt in memphis TN for awhile and if you have a problem or get this way, go in there and ask for richard harris. he went to denton tx when paccar came up with the drawings for the 387 and told them stuff they needed to change, some they changed before they built it, some they didnt, he really knows electrical and the 387. so good luck.
