1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

    Howdy, folks!

First post here after lurking for a while— I’m going strong squeaky-clean so far and on track for a year of experience with Swift and like any good Swift trainee I’m looking to leave the company as soon as my tuition debt’s paid and I’ve done my year.

I’d appreciate a shout if anyone knows any decent gigs in the Yuba-Sutter area for me to get more local after my year’s up. Going home at the end of the day is a pipe dream for me, but everyone needs a Class A driver these days same as ever. I figure there’s gotta be somewhere that would work for me in the area.

Thanks for any sort of advice you guys have about it!

My advice get 30 months total of clean record go to Walmart 25 days of PTO day one health insurance and great weekly home time. But a good company for now is Werner plenty of rookies I've ran into are hitting average 1500 a week which I know is higher than swift.
