new member here. recently past 1 year of experience as a trucker

I've heard of it. I just think we funnel folks to college who have no business going, they take on debt via FAFSA loans and obtain a pretty much worthless degree in terms of making a living. I think STEM degrees should be the focus when it comes to subsidies... We are losing a lot of good talent. Meanwhile universities have turned college into a business that's funded by the government/tax payers. Most folks shouldn't go to college.. these folks have all these worthless degrees and nobody knows how to do anything.. but but I be edicated!!

Your average engineer could become the Uni- bomber in a matter of a few days.. My point is most folks don't have the mental capacity to go to or GET RECRUITED to college on an academic scholarship..It seems like we value sports more... That'll most likely be our downfall if you study history.. Our doctors and engineers should be making the big money...but no Americans value wasting their lives watching useless games...
