Little buggers are just over $2 each. Only had a dozen or so in stock so we'll see if they work. Parts guy couldn't pull up the original number but these ones from a B are probably the same. I'll try them out before I commit to 200 of them lol. IMG_20260206_184955281.jpg

That seems like a lot. I ordered some from Byler Rivet Co. and seems like they were less than 50 cents each.

    Feedman Thanks this.

I'm going to do some shopping around, see if I can find them a bit cheaper. I won't need them for another week or 2.

Found a place out in Manitoba that sells the same bolt and collar for almost half the price of the dealer. I have one more place a little more local to check out first before I order.

In the meantime I will enjoy my coffee for a bit while the garage warms up, then go out and install a couple hucks for ####s n giggles.

Didn't get much done today, put about an hour in on it. I haven't really taken a true day off in a while so I did just that. Might break out the welder tomorrow and weld on some brackets and pieces.

Must feel good getting back at the project, I have a 1951 Ford F5 sitting in the barn waiting for attention. Maybe this summer I can start fiddling with it...

Managed to get the lockbolts and collars locally for less than half the price at the dealer. Should have them next week.

Just have a bit of fabrication work left to do this weekend and hopefully I will have the cab frame and parts dropped off for sandblasting in the next week or so.

Built braces for the corner and the brackets to tie the rear panel structure to. They need some finishing work before I weld them in but that's a tomorrow job.

Ever put a bunch of time into something, get it all in place and then realize you absolutely hate the way you did it so you rip it apart and redo it?

Yeah I'll be redoing the corner brackets tomorrow.
