Heads up, everyone. On February 12, 2026, the FMCSA removed nine electronic logging devices (ELDs) from their approved list because they didn’t meet federal standards.
If you’re using one of these devices, you’ve got 60 days to switch to a compliant ELD. That means you need to have it replaced by April 14, 2026.
Revoked ELDs:
What to do if your ELD is on the list:
- Global Telecommunication Services, Inc. – GTS ELD (Model 213W01, ID: GTS18A)
- UTRUCKIN INC – UTRUCKIN (Model PT30, ID: UTRUCK)
- ELD365 – ELD365 ELOG (Model ELD365, ID: ELD365)
- IRONMAN ELD – IRONMAN ELD (Model IRON300, ID: IRM881)
- HOST ELD LLC (f/k/a FACTOR ELD) – FACTOR ELD (Model FACTORELD1, ID: FRELD1)
- Aireld Technologies – AirELD (Model Android & Xirgo 6300, ID: ARELD1)
- Aireld Technologies – Air ELD (Model iOS & Xirgo 6300, ID: ARELD2)
- Aireld Technologies – AirELD (Model Android & PT30, ID: ARELD3)
- Aireld Technologies – AirELD (Model iOS & PT30, ID: ARELD4)
1. Stop using it immediately
2. Track your hours with paper logs or another approved ELD/software until you replace it
3. Make sure your replacement device is FMCSA-compliant
Have any of you already switched to a new ELD, and if so, which one are you using now?

I’m guessing there’s only a certain demographic that is affected by this.

That wording is too open-ended. I don't think you can do this for more than eight days, though that rule actually refers to malfunctioning ELD's.

Any ELD that can allow edits to drive time should be on the banned list.
