I've never been to a Black Bear. Aren't they mostly in Midwest and West areas of USA? I looked at their menus online and they seem like a real nice place to eat.wulfman75 and FullMetalJacket Thank this.

They started in Kalifornia and exploded all over the country. They seem to be everywhere in Arizona now.navypoppop Thanks this.

Worth the visit. Usually good food.
I'm addicted to the Huckleberry shakes.navypoppop Thanks this. -
Yeah mostly. Morris, IL I think is the easternmost but maybe they'll make them nationwide. A lil pricey but worth it. Old school portions.navypoppop Thanks this.

Hate to see it closed, stopped there quite a few times.

Segovia was pretty pricey (probably still is now that it's a TA), but at least they had a sit-down restaurant that was open 24/7. And the food was half-decent.
But it's not out in the middle of nowhere. Heck it's only 9 miles east of Junction, which is home to several truck stops and restaurants nowadays.navypoppop Thanks this. -
But, I remember when there were no truck stops in Junction. The next truck stop west was Ozona, and to the east there was a small fuel stop on the west side of San Antonio.

That old place in Ozona…. Got in late at night a few times, and got some of the best coffee i ever drank. Of course it was the only place to get coffee along there most of the time.
