I can’t say enough good things about this company. Never micromanaged and was left alone to handle the job. My route manager was probably the best manager I’ve ever worked with. Dispatchers were supportive and proactive. Worked alongside great coworkers who have become lifelong friends. Equipment was almost always newer, clean, and functioned well. There were high stress situations at times driving in extreme conditions of 40+ mph winds and blizzards through Colorado/Wyoming/Kansas. But mountain driving was part of the job and was a great learning experience as a truck driver. Unfortunately, I no longer work here due to the post master general cutting routes left and right throughout the country to save a buck while filling his pockets deeper at the cost of drivers losing their jobs. I miss this position and was very satisfied overall. The worst part is when they implemented inward facing AI cameras but accepted it over time because of how much I loved the job. The best part was the beautiful scenery, pay, and flexible home time. Hope to see them expand and open more positions again.
