Looks like this customer chose the "fingers crossed" option on this shipment. You start with unsecured freight, in this case a C7 cat engine, and put it loosely on a metal stand with a few layers of shrink wrap. This is how it was sitting on my trailer. Harness pinned underneath the pallet 20260319_073523.jpg

You do a mediocre job of draining the fluids and leave random bolts sitting on the valve covers. Its juat a small oil leak under the pan.

Then you opt for the "surprise me" when you are asked if you want the converter protected. 20260319_073903~2.jpg

Ive got it secured and dunnage between it and the wall, I hope the customer doesn't have high expectations .

There are days I hate my job! A 300+/- lb hog tried to jump over my sort board this morning, and went full speed snout first into my nuts. Hurt like unbelievable, almost thought I could throw up. And they have a camera watching us unload, so I couldn’t even kick it’s ###

I believe I’d have kicked it in its nuts (if I could move quickly enough considering the scenario) just for the cameras sake.

    That is priceless.
Our youngest is in kindergarten, so I’m solo again.
I bet our second to the youngest had a quarter million miles under his belt before he started school.
