D LINE TRUCKING is one of the worst companies I’ve ever worked for.
They lied to you at the very beginning about how much money you’re gonna make and then they’ll leave you sitting for days and don’t wanna pay you layover pay.
Alex is the boss and he is Narcissistic and the dispatcher is his flunky. You’re really insignificant and they treat you that way they expect you to stay out for long periods of time without going home. They just have no respect for the drivers. When you need a repair done they yell at the people that are doing your repair and it’s very embarrassing they think everybody’s out to screw them over. They don’t do any preventative maintenance on their trucks so when they break down they get upset and think everybody is overcharging them. All I can tell you is run as fast as you can.. Also they will keep your escrow. They will make up everything and anything that you’ve done while you’re working for them and keep your escrow. Please please disregard this company

1099 company?
I always liked delivering in Elk Grove Village. One giant industrial park!TB John Thanks this. -
You have an interesting phrase towards the end. "All I can tell you is run as fast as you can." What good would that effort and expenditure of energy do me when just avoiding hiring on to this company would work just as well?Lonesome and bryan21384 Thank this.

Did you get seduced by the promises of big money? My curiosity looms........
DISCLAIMER: THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS BIG MONEY IN TRUCKING. -
Honest TB.....always getting to the root of the problem.....TB John Thanks this.

That, my friend, could be up for discussion. For some, big money is north of $100,000 a year. For others, like @TB John , that's not near enough. For some, like me, change for a tenner is big money...TB John and bryan21384 Thank this.

Hmmmmm fair point. Though these days, I'm not sure that 100k is big money anymore. It seems to be what is needed to get by, especially if they frequent the strip club.Lonesome Thanks this.

Why would you work for a company that charges you escrow!
-
@Lonesome will back me up on this, the big money used to flow freely at B**B&C*D! Amenities like paper in BOTH restrooms. A shaded place for vehicle repairs. A water cooler in the office, and a fridge in the break room. I even remember Ardis and Mobley sticking dollar bills in G-strings instead of tossing nickels and dimes on stage.
