    Not sure how it will cut down on air leaks. The wires still have to go to a valve that regulates the system, seems like an extra link in the chain versus just having the valve in the dash. Probably has more to do with making sure the truck doesn’t move unless you’re buckled in and the door is closed. Good thing they make the dummy plugs so the computer thinks the seat belt is buckled.

    That's what Freightliner claims not me personally. Less potential for air leaks due to no air lines running up from the chasis into the cab/dash air valve which of course is gone too (relocated). Then the big one is no more rollaways from dummies forgetting to set their brakes.

    I can’t imagine what nightmares these trucks will be after 10 or even 5 years with all this junk tech on them.

    I don’t think I’ll have to worry about 10, 7 will probably be max if even that long
