Never go through Atlanta unless you're delivering directly in Atlanta, fam. We have the CoPilot on the tablet, but I use a Rand McNally ($300) for navigation around major cities. Your driver manager has no control over the routing on those programs. I'm sorry that you're having a bad day. I get pissed off when the DMs don't answer, but she's probably busy managing others in her fleet and or just ignoring me. Are their bugs in the system that are keeping your clock from functioning... or do you want her to do something illegal to prevent you from receiving a violation? I've heard of plenty of office admins that "cook the clock" to help drivers save time and avoid violations, but I haven't ever seen it myself

You can tell alot, by how someone articulates themselves.
Im hard nosed about low tier drivers, get them out of the industry, the bar needs to be raised. -
I remember when that was illegal. I guess things have changed since I retired...Lonesome, Walk Among Us and navypoppop Thank this.

Well, to any driver worth his salt and knowing better to work for a company where micromanagement is the S.O.P., that would be true.
However, now you’ll get a “service failure” for missing an appointment due to circumstances beyond your control. You might get one the Walmart way for showing up a minute early. Then you have places like Atlanta where trucks aren’t allowed to go through town, but the company’s routing says to go that way, so going the legal route around on 285 might cause you to miss an appointment, which will no doubt lead to questions about “why you went out of route”.

Atlanta. Even the Devil knew he went too far when he allowed that city to exist.
