From what I’ve seen, torn quad would have the muscle detached from the knee, and knotted up towards the upper thigh. And every thing between the knee and the detached muscle turns purple. It doesn’t sound like you did that.

BTW, Recovery happens when we sleep. Probably the most commonly overlooked part of weight training. You know the old saying, “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”? That’s only true with recovery. Without recovery, what doesn’t kill you makes you crippled.

Mowed this morning for the 2nd time already. Been 92* here the last two days, supposed to be hotter today.

 

I am definitely not complaining but it’s 91 here on the front porch in Ky. As usual it doesn’t last long this time of year because it’s supposed to be 32 Tuesday morning. It does look like mostly good weather for the Mid America Truck Show that starts Thursday with an 84 temp forecast.
