I've been looking at a few used rigs. I would pay cash. Waiting for my 'gut' to tell me the right truck has come along.....and then hope that it doesnt require major issues in a short time. Your right about the financing. The banks (even ones with TARP money) seem to be giving it to the fat cats (making them fatter) instead of the intended audience - the small biz owner.

Cash works for me, but right now it's hard to come up with more than $15k of it..

now i ran across a post about financing trucks. now true i have my own trucks but i want 5 more so i answered this add, this dealer claims he has trucks for sale with nothing down and several programs for bad credit so i sent him an e-mail stating i was interested if the program was still available contact me via e-mail.

the reply i got was got to work for a company and save up 20000 bucks and buy a truck, kinda pissed me off, now it may be true i don't have a lot of credit but i do have trucks and i don't work for trucking company's period ill do the welfare thing first and if i did work for a company to save up 20000 bucks id be to #### old to drive the truck. if you run across that add it is as i though just another scam and by chance if this turkey happens to read this here is a flash for you Mr expert , i don't need or want your advice in fact i can give you some advice about this business that wood be a lot more beneficial then the swill your putting out.

we would alll be better of if you didn't have any thing good to say just shut the hell up we have enough lies in this business already we sure don't need anymore.

what the hell ever happen to honesty and integrity anyway, i guess like everything else it has become a thing of the past could it be that all truck dealers have become that bad ? i hope not.

all have a good day . southernpride :biggrin_25514:

SP,it's always a pleasure to read your posts, as usual. I have to say in all honesty I'm truck queer and would love to run the road but oh well I don't have a pot to piss in myself these days. You say that with the position your in at present in trucking, from what you have said, that you can't get operation money to expand, that's scary. I hit Gears up for S&G's on one post when he thru up a thought about expanding. Well he is an O/O that's on his own. I think I might have pissed him off when I asked about his hoodsie pit crew,no not really. But he has graduated from his frieghtshaker to a baby blue Pete from his connections. Now I know for sure your a hussler, especially after reading your response on "OJT Divers"not the correct title but,I think you know what I mean. I would think with your connections from your operations, from what I gather, that you wouldn't need to entertain the thought of having to finance. But, take that from a guy who "Doesn't have a Pot." Be Good

now i no there are a lot of you out there that are trying to buy a truck as i am and I'm sure most of you are aware that there are a lot of scams out there that are just trying to steal your money and you get nothing but hot air in return well here comes another one.

now I've been searching the INTERNET for the the better part of a year trying to raise money to buy trucks with no luck at all and i mean a constant search i start at 6 am and i quit at 9 pm six days a week with no luck at all along with three other drivers but no trucks and no money to bu a truck but we have found a lot of scams and i mean a lot of them, i have come to the conclusion that the only thing your going to find on the INTERNET is crooks and thieves.

one such company is SBA CONSULTING SERVICES INC. , located in LAS VEGAS , NV. 3087 WARM SPRINGS RD. now these guys are going to do you a big favor, there going to get you 25000 dolors to get you started and they only charge a one time fee of 399.00 just send them a check and they will get started DON'T DO IT , now if and when you send them this check you just screwed your self they now have your bank number and the bank routing number, they have access to your bank account and all you have in it .

then they come back with o we don't think that is enough let us incorporate you and we can get you 150.000 and a line of credit, now that would be a Nevada cooperation which most wont deal witrh because Nevada will not discloses any information about about the cooperation period, but that only cost you another one time fee of 399.00, now in the meantime your going to be surprised they have already hit your bank for the first 399.00 so by now your thinking you been had so you call the bank to try and stop the transaction , NOPE nothing the bank will do , you sent them a check and it has those funny numbers on the check , your bank number and the routing number which means they can access your account at any time they choose and take any amount they choose they just make out there own check and fill in the amount they choose and add your bank numbers and there is not a #### thing you can do about it and the bank will not do anything about it there answer is well you gave them your routing information nothing we can do.

AND YOUR JUST OUT THE MONEY i made a post a few days ago about buying a truck with your emotions when you do you lose your judgement and this kinda thing happens because you want a truck so bad and this is what they count on and you always lose.

now i've been told that i need to be carefull about putting names on this forum i could be sued well the answer is simple stand in line im waiting on the chance to get one of you pricks in court i doubt the outcome will be what you expect but go for it im waiting for you, there is nothing worse then a thief.

i sincerly hope this will save some of you some money and a lot of heart ache , it happens every day day in and day out , DON'T EVER GIVE ANYONE YOUR BANK NUMBER OR YOU BANK ROUTING NUMBER WHEN YOU DO YOU JUST GAVE THEM YOUR ACCOUNT AND ALL YOU HAVE IN IT.

Instead of searching the internet for money, how about going out and working for it like the rest of us do. It seems to merunning a business is not your forte.
