Operated by Fuel Express and Circle K is primarily a gasoline retailer. I saw a Loves tanker at a Pilot the other day but he carried out his lunch from Wendy’s. He is definitely as tired of Subway as we all are.

I am having flashbacks of a scene from MASH where Rizzo explains success in the Army to Klinger. Acklie management is a lot like he described Army brass. They don't like to see you happy and smiling. On Monday, when Mr. Excuse messaged me asking how I was doing...my reply was positive and upbeat. Yesterday afternoon I got a preplan (finally). Temple to OKC. In the back of my mind I had the thought that they might be setting me up for working the Walmart account out of Paul's Valley. Trying to stay positive, I just hoped they were just getting me a few more miles on this weeks pay after that overweight load that ended up being a 7 day run. Well, this morning I got my next preplan... Paul's Valley to..... Paul's Valley. They were trying to get me to do the Walmart b.s. for a week. I refused it...I don't do Walmart dedicated. The reason I put in for refusing it? Religion. When they questioned why I put Religion down, I explained that pulling Walmart DC loads make me hate God more than I already do and that no mortal man should be asked to endure that purgatorious torture. And I also told them the last time I was forced into pulling for a DC, after the 1st load, I was searching Priceline for the cheapest flight home because I would rather work for Swift or CRE than pull for our dedicated account, and if they forced me to do it again, I wouldn't last that long. It took them over an hour to decide to pull me of of it. Moral of the story....to quote Rizzo 'never smile', or never let them see you smile and find out you are happy or content.

I was wondering how long before you or @Cherokee65 ended up stuck in Cheyenne doing WM dedicated. I didn't have Paul's Valley on my bingo card.

Cheyenne was my last Walmart dedicated duty that was the last nail in the dedicated coffin. Ops wondered why I was o.k. with the load to ME (which was a Walmart to Walmart load), and why I was o.k. with the load I just delivered to the New Brunfels DC, but not Paul's Valley. I told them delivering TO a DC and doing DC to store deliveries is 2 totally dfferent things.

Speaking of the New Braunfels DC, it was a circus this morning. Not sure if it is always that clogged up or if the Easter weekend has them overloaded, but I have never seen a DC that packed with trailers. There were make-a-spot drop trailers 2, 3 and 4 deep almost everywhere. And we had a ton of empties just waiting to be moved.

My single most hated week at Crete was doing WM PV dedicated for a week. And that was some 13 years ago.

Funny that I drive for WM Private Fleet now, but not out of Pauls Valley thank goodness.

I've done Cheyenne twice, and done ok. I've heard north platte is decent. Mankato I've heard kinda mixed things. Paul's valley, I've heard the office staff are... umm... difficult to work with, but that was from 1 driver several years ago so idk. Cheyenne, dealing with Denver sucks but its kinda fun running the backroads around Colorado in the Rockies.

In my 13 years at Crete.. .only did Walmart dedicated one time....never did any beer load...and no tire chains in the rack ever.. didn't go west of Cheyenne or Denver ...during chains required season....no idea why Crete let me...but they did...and somehow still made quarterly bonus many times
