I was coming home from a trip to Springfeild, MO and this semi driver driving a red truck from Blue Eagel Transporting was THE WORST semi driver I have EVER had to be around. He was rude, drove WAY to fast, road my bumper, almost ran me off the road, got up right behind me and started bright lighting me, layed on his horn because I was doing the speed limit, and was just one of the most evilest people I have ever come across. I have ALL of his info, i just dont have his license plate number because it was way to dark and kinda rainy. I would like to make a formal complaint but I dont know how to at this point. I think he is one of the drivers that should NOT be on the road because he will eventually kill someone or more then one person most likely, and he will come out ok. It just erks me to NO end that he can dp this to people because he is bigger then the average car or truck. Im planning on taking drastic actions if I ever see him on I-44 ever again. He scared the living hell out of me, and I dont think he should be on the road AT ALL.
Bad semi driver!!!

Might I ask what drastic actions your speaking of, should you see him again?
-
I've been known to call the company and report drastically unsafe driving. Most companies can track the driver through the trailer number, and approximate time. Of course, I've also been known to call and compliment a safe and professional driver, too. And to offer my report in the case of accidents, too. Heck, I might have saved a few jobs along the way. Whih should offset the jobs I might have cost.

What was wrong with him that he couldn't get past you on the interstate?
-
I have no idea what his problem was. If I got over in the slow lane he would fallow me over to the other lane, and when he was going nuts on my bumper, I was passing another truck and I wasnt going fast enough for him. I was doing 75, and he wanted to do 80 to 90. I saw him doing it to other people who were trying to pass other people aslo. But I wanna say he was an idependent driver because he had no logo on his trailor. And the drastic measures Im going to take isnt as drastic as to stop in the middle of the road and shoot the guy, Im going to make sure I have every police station number and highway patrol and state trooper number I can get ahold of for the whole route of the interstate i take. I dont mide truck drivers, they bring us some WONDERFUL things, but some of them just shouldnt be on the roads, and he was one of them.

Sorry to hear about your experience. The only number you need to call is 911 and ask for whoever has jurisdiction in that area.
simplyred1962 Thanks this. -
Besides dialing 911, most states have signs posted along major highways with a * or # and three numbers to call for the state troopers. Thought I would post this for future reference.

If you come here to post I know it traumatized you. The driver sounds like one of the idiots out here.
I would call the law first if it was that bad as it happens. The site of a cell phone going to your ear might change his mind. I would also slow down gradually in the right lane. He will get mad but his main objective is flying down the road. You could even exit off a ramp and come down the other side to get away from him.
Road rage takes two drivers acting irrationally. Avoidance is the best solution. Don't look at them or do anything to worsen the situation. Many feed off of reactions of facial expressions or sign language. Avoid that.
The basic info you need is the trucking company name and the truck number which is usually on the hood. The USDOT# or MC# can identify the truck company specifics to a T to a lawman. It's usually located on the lower rear of the truck or even on the door.
Here's a list of all the Blue EaglesThere is a bunch of them. If you have the MC or USDOT#, you can do the searching here.
