Pretty good week considering I had the weekend off. Totaled 2259 paid miles which is not bad considering it was over 5 separate trips. Unloaded this morning in Cleveland and was sent to Lima, OH for a pickup at PG but the load wasn't ready and they cancelled the trip and sent me to the Pilots to await further instructions. Hopefully get a nice long load for the weekend to start off the next pay period right. Everything so far has been good with no hiccups. My EVO 3 dispatcher seems very competent and pleasant to boot so hopefully things keep rolling along well.

The Cleveland place was pretty tough but I got there late at night so didn't have too much traffic to deal with.

Two busy days. Relayed a load to Hebron, KY late afternoon yesterday and had a preplan before I got there to return to Dayton and relay a load to Front Royal, VA today. Long drive today as the weather was #### with rain, fog and then the Cumberland Gap to deal with but made it a little ahead of time. No empty again so bobtailed to the truck stop to await for something tomorrow. I have completed 7 trips in a 5 day span so staying real busy with these one day trips. At this rate I will be out of EVO 3 in 2 weeks:) as they want you to do 15 trips I think before sending you to the regular dispatch.

15 trips during EVO 3 isn't bad at all....when I saw the whole 4-6 weeks thing I was kinda bummed being I'm going to flatbed right after EVO 3.

I'll be starting June 28th most likely. Waiting until my physical Tuesday to put in my mandatory 28 notice at my current job. Altho my boss will usually find someone quicker, I need to work it out to save up living money for while I'm in school.

I can't wait tho to be moving on.

Well didn't get a load for Sunday so had to claim layover pay. On Monday picked up a load of paper in western Maryland with two drops, one on eastern Long Island ((so much for 6 months with no NYC:) but that was no big deal, used to live there) and a second one in Springfield, Mass. Had a nice preplan before emptying out. Picked up another load of paper about 30 miles north of Saratoga and taking it to Danville, KY for Thursday afternoon, a nice 1K+ trip. Parking tonight in a rest area as nearly ran out of hours and didn't have a better option. So far so good.

Your Bill Maher quote is really ignorant. Bill Maher? He is about the biggest moron when it comes to socio-political commentary that this country has ever produced. Get smart. Read something by someone intelligent. Like Mark Levin or Michael Savage.

Hey Long Island is an extra $75 in your check right? I'll be heading down south this weekend almost to your neck of the woods. Got the Coca Cola 600 this in Charlotte. Then its one more week of work followed by a week off, (well, not really off since I'll be moving my house to storage for the time being) My wife and the kids are going to be living with her parents while I'm dealing with my first year of driving. We will look for a place in the fall and then in the spring if nothing appears to fit. Trying to save some $$$. Plus it gives her some extra support while I'm on the road.

Anyhow I'll be counting the Roehl trucks I see rolling on my way to Charlotte.
Well I really am looking forward to this training getting started!
