Well, atleast you get a restart out of it. Not really the way I like to take one, but hey, it could be worse..... You could be sittin at a chicken coop talking a mandatory restart.......

Hmm... been there, done that - waiting for cows to get dead enough. Most meat loads are that way - if you get there anything like 24 - 36 hours before the drop-dead time, you're going to sit. And it ain't no fun.

Injun... there's a WalMart about two or three miles south of there. If you do bobtail down there, find a place to park on the street. They don't like us in the parking lot because of the damage that our tractors do to the asphalt when it gets hot and gooey. You can get the phone number to security - call them to check on your load.

Be happy... Dodge City and Garden City are worse, not to mention Liberal, Lexington, Smithfield or any place that has anything to do with a dead bird!

Yeah...I found out this morning when I went in to use the bathroom and brush my teeth that they turn the water off to the guard shack on Sundays. Who ever heard of a Blue Law on water???

But, luckily, I'm out of there. Unfortuneately, it took so long for them to load me that I have to T-Call the load to another driver. &%#$'ed again on a good paying load. I can't afford this any more.

My only experience with Plainview was a drop trailer that was already loaded. A friend wasn't so lucky and had to sit a day.
