    It's ok Bootlegger.
I had not mentioned it here, but I had my first close encounter with a solid object and my tractor a few weeks ago. Or maybe I did mention it somewhere.
Had a moment of stupid, and that was all it took. Had to wait a full day at the terminal to see if I still had a job. Then they said yes you do, here is a truck and a load.
We do not care if you were up all day and now have to run all night lol.
I did not hit a truck though. I hit an object that would not move and was bigger than me lol. Damage was minimal, but after driving on and off the last 19 years or so it is hard to have that first one.

Also, Central has some money, they get it from the leases and school. They are on a small margin though. Since they charge next to nothing to move freight.

Well it IS an easy way to fire someone. Like chromedome said... that is odd that someone would lie about having a load. Odd that he has been in the same truck stop for a few days... At most I was at a truck stop for 1 day. A few is kind of much. While you are going to wvdc... find out about the brand new Freightshaker sitting in front of the offices.

thats typical down there.... that is the SEDLOD. It has some kind of gravitational pull to CDF. Once i get loads down there my FM gets me out QUICK.

But sitting for 3 days under an imaginary load is odd.

I am starting to like US Cold Storage more and more... The one in bakersfield lets you use the shower during business hrs.

Ya, I'm tired of the night driving too. I'm using this opportunity to shift my hours back to a routine I like. Heading in for a B service in a few then do what I need to with safety at WVDC before headin to Atlanta. I really don't want to get stuck hanging around the CDF since it looks like the new FM wants to get me out of that area too.

It sure would be nice to not have to lose a day by stepping foot onto a detention facility. Now waiting on the one and only person who can get me outta here. :(

If you're a company driver, you'll be happy! Don't sign a lease. I did and my miles got cut big time, and Cole Thompson would not even allow me to change dispatchers when my miles were cut. I found out I was diagnosed with epilepsy and lost my job and I've been out of work since.
