Went and applied for my TWIC card today. Trying to make myself more employable when my 2 years hit. Pretty painless cept for the money you have to fork over. Best thing about it......was able to apply and will be able to pick my card up right here in good OKC!!! Forsee no difficulty since its the exact same paperwork you fill out for a Hazmat.

 

what the heck, this stupid internet connection at walcott is making me mad.. wont stay connected.. hows am i supposed to download all my movies and what not.. well i messed up.. i over bought on fuel and it related to a small check for me.. not much, but it'll pay the bill i have and get me some fun while i'm here.. i just know to start watchin my fuel.. big time.. i over fueled alot.. but my truck is just so inconsistent in its mpgs that i cant count on one mpg or another.. its varies anywhere from 1 mpg up to 3 mpgs.. im loosing my head with this truck.. i should have just got a new one...

 

Hey DM... while you're on your 34, can ya send me a cake with a file and some bolt cutters in it? I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever get out of Utah. I've been hearing rumours of some place called Wyoming just east of here. I think I'm gonna make a run for it soon.

So looks like ill be borrowin a volvo to ride in while my babys getting felt up by a bunch of strangers... : ( lol.. And I call people strange...

Well apparently attempting to bribe the guards didn't work. Have to wait till new guys get tested before an existing driver can get back on the road. Buearocratic BS! I know the naysayers will think that last statement is an open door to make their little comments. But I'm gonna shut that door right back because it's likely the same at any company, but it doesn't mean I have to satisfied with it.

Now all y'all lurker trolls can post your 20 pages of "told ya so's", "don't lease", "central sucks", blah blah blah comments.

I like the Cascadia.
They have more storage than my Prostar and I hear they are decent on MPGs also.
I prefer the Cummins, newer engines scare me. The new one from International and the one coming from Pacar scare me more than the Detroit though.
Since those company's are new to engines, and the last Pacar they tested a few years ago got like 3 mpg.

Ran over 600 miles today. Dropped my loaded and bobtailed to the truck stop 2 miles away. At 10.75 driving and my 14 gone.
Sitting at the Pilot in London OH.
Wanted to go to the TA, but had a free shower here. Sitting in Arbys till the sun gets lower. Too hot in the lot.

 

I'm here at wvdc again. This time for a couple days. Need to take my current load up to burley,ID. Then pick up some frz potatoes in heyburn and drop that off at wvdc then go pick up my load home in springville. I'll post a pic of that shiney new cascadia before it gets dark and post it for ya
