? about c15

    curious when draining the antifreeze out how much actually stays in the block of a c15 in a 379. and also what the capacity is? thanks.

    I had to put a pre cooler hose on a 06 ,379 last week that's the blue formed hose under the turbo. When I filled the. Coolant back up it took about seven gallons. Electrical systems and wiring is my specialty but when a driver is in need. I always try to help. Truckwires. Com

    If everything is empty,lines and all I think it's about 12 gal.Very little will stay in the block if u drain from the lowest point.Maybe a gal or so.

    Just a thought,but u might want to plan on replacing the return precooler line also.You cant really see it but it's there.And it would be a pain to fix on the side of the road.
