Very encouraging NOT, I know many people who have their own trucks. In the beginning they knew squat about fixing, but learned as they went.. Did you know how to take a part say a car, when you first started driving? Then why slam someone who came here looking for advise, and how do you know he/she doesn't know how to fix a truck..

latoya thurmond Thanks this. -
IMO if you want the 3-4 per mile you need to go the specialized freight area and not dry van or reefer
-
Thanks I am doing more research now , so would you say that the avarage pay fot dryvan is about $2.50 a mile ? -
Yeah, the shipper may be paying $2.50 a mile, but to who? The broker? or the trucking company? Or the O/O? You're doing good by investigating BEFORE you jump in. Good luck.....
latoya thurmond Thanks this. -
Thanks again I was thinking maybe I should study to be a broker first to get all the inside infomation.
