The ones I saw looked just like the alcoa's on my truck. Mild soap every truck wash and a little polishing with some mother's every couple of months ought to be just fine.

call this number, 888.425.6445x2630. to find a dealer in your area. super nice lady.

The only problem is Forgitron is going bankrupt. Of course they won't tell you that but do a web search. According to Great Dane who has quit selling Forgitron and went back to Ohio there is a 12 week lead time. Stick with well know Quality wheels you get what you pay for.
-
Thats Not true. I am in contact with Forgitron on a weekly basis and nothing could be further from the truth.
12 week lead time might be true but its because the product is so good that demand is far greater than what can be physically manufactured.
From what I am guessing supply of the raw material is a bit of a problem and I am sure you can figure out who that is!!!!!! -
Are you trying to imply that it's ALCOA? ALCOA doesn't even supply their own raw material anymore, let alone anyone else's.

This is all new info. to me on Forgitron financial troubles. I will continue to follow the forum. I have not seen the rim in person but Wingfoot prasises the quality and finish. -
If Wingfoot praises Forgitron why does the Goodyear dealers I go to recommend Accuride? I admit they have some "creative" marketing. Their 360 degree polish is a joke it is the same as the Accuride buff and the Alcoa LVL finish which is the new machine finish. I guess it just sounds good. and about the 12 week lead time. It does take time to get the product from Mexico. They are no longer machined in Ohio Alcoa now owns that shop
josh.c if you want a quality wheel in Knoxville go see Mickey at MHC he will set you up with Alcoa or Accuride -
Thanks, I don't need any wheels though, I was just commenting on ALCOA's raw material. MHC used to be my dealer of choice, even though I drive an International. They've done some good work for me and helped me out for free with little stuff several times, but then I had them do some engine work when I dropped a jake brake piston, and they buttoned it back up with a valve knocking. I had a really hard time getting them to make it right, and I haven't been back. It's only been a couple of months, so I'm sure I'll eventually get over it. Hard to justify paying $100/hr when the $60/hr shop down the street does a better job...sorry for the rabbit trail.

AWS, do you work for advanced wheel sales out of Ohio? You guys sell Alcoa and Accuride aluminum wheels right? I appreciate your insight but it sounds like sour grapes to me.
I just called Forgitron and their wheels are still coming out of Ohio. I have also put the 360 finish wheel next to an Accuride mil finish and it's not even close. Forgitron is much brighter.
