Bad Company Carolina Cargo

i thought someone said that Carolina Cargo was shutting down and there trucks being repo-ed....... I sure have been seeing quite a few out there on 40 runnin east and west....... have they changed hands? are they being run any better now or still rippin off drivers with 10 cents a mile????

Anyone gotta update ........ only thing they had going before was they would give someone with a "history" a chance to start over.

abilities of this forum but if you will notice ( and you are "staff" ) the Carolina cargo thread ( http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...ere/26429-carolina-cargo-rock-hill-sc-29.html ) was closed and locked on 3-24-2010 because of a few folks wanting to argue so i am just looking for a current update on thier status not an argument .... none of the other threads that came up with the search function had any new info....... but thanks for the suggestion just the same

 

The, Carolina Cargo, Rock Hill SC, thread is still good and great for reference. That thread gives information that drivers need to know before venturing towards this company. They have a past and it is not a good one. You can always call the company for more information.

 

nope can't do that ...... they don't answer the phones ....... i've even tried the numbers supplied by dialing 411 on a landline

 

If you think it is hard to get in touch with them now, imagine driving for them and needing someone to answer the phone.

This is a common complaint about this company.

Have you tried Interstate Trucking in the Charlotte, NC area? I am not aware of your circumstances, but there might be some opportunities for you, they might not be OTR, but they would put you in a truck making money.

 

thanx for the thoughts but i am currently driving OTR for a different company outta Charlotte ..... and i did drive for Carolina Cargo back in '09 but couldn't stand the bull...t so i moved on and have been following the drama online when time allows
