I agree with WCP (above). We are in commercial trucks and should not have anything we shouldn't. It's difficult enough to remain safe on our roads.

When I did my apprenticeship my bosses dad was the chief of police
He called them pigs, pretty funny cause he would do it right in front of his dad and the guys
To be honest, I would put the good to bad cop percentile at 25% bad to 50% good
The other 25% didn't care enough about the job to count, just enjoyed the powerRoadmedic and Saddle Tramp Thank this. -
I have had my let's say, "disagreements" with various DOT....Particularly with the axle weight limits on my spread...
But at the end of the day....It pays to show some respect for man or woman who's wearing the badge and carrying a sidearm.....LoSt_AgAiN Thanks this. -

I keep my equipment up, respect other drivers and try to make the logbook look good. Unfortunately I work for a company that doesn't care about HOS. Typical in the meat hauling business though. When the time is right, I'll find another job. I just hate moving sidewards. -

It is ALWAYS your choice. Your employer going to pay your fine when you get busted speeding or with that radar detector?
I bet not.
