it was like a step deck that never stepped back up. whats the pros and cons of that trailer over a normal flatbed.. it seems like it would make doing heavy haul and oversized load easier. and if that wind kicks up i wont fall as far to the ground.
-
I see, I've only seen one and it was one of PGT's Worthington trailers with a tarp system so I couldn't see the floor. Looks neat and is really light weight at only 8,000# for a 48x102 according to the brochure, I like how you can put tie downs anywhere.
-
I love how they try to tell everyone they are that light.
-
What do they weight? I don't think 8k would be too far out of the ball park. You can get a standard flat in the mid 9's if your not going for concentrated loads.
-
I found out his heavy lightweight is cause of the lead sled KW he has. He was heavy with the East he had before it also. I think he's around 34k.
-
34K with a "light weight" trailer? Maybe time to do some truck shopping or take the concrete out of the tires.
-
Thats what he's doing.
