    Ah, yes, the annual "let's pretend we are really concerned with safety, not revenue" circus.

    I usually (and am doing it this year, also) just park for the duration.

    A few reasons:

    If you look deep enough, almost ANY truck can have some minor defect. (But still be perfectly safe)

    They WILL look "deeply enough".

    Why go through the hassle for what is basically just a show?

    I went by 5 scales today and was green lighted by prepass on 4. The 5th one I got the bypass arrow once in the scale. I am loaded at 44500 also. They seem more interested in reefers than tankers.

    I have no open scales between me and my delivery point in the morning. Then I'm headed to our shop for a service and some repairs.

    Timed it perfect! 34 hr restart and HIDE! :biggrin_25523:

    All the scales in CA, OR, WA so far today were nothing outside of normal...no big pull everyone in for check anywhere....something tells me they are going to pull a fast one and do it next week maybe...catch all you "hiders" unawares!

    I got a level three in KY on 65 at the 5 mm today. That's the only scale I crossed, and I coulda went around it easily.
