My Millis Experience -

I heard that about the one we had. Didnt know there were others in the same situation.

 

Phase 1 Training complete. We took our drug tests yesterday, completed the final paperwork today and received our comdata cards and everything else we needed. Had two new regional drivers that completed orientation with us these past few days. One from Celedon and one from Central. Nice guys and willing to share all the info they could. I guess I am offically a Millis Employee.

Should be leaving with my OTR trainer either Thursday or Friday. Will spend some time at the Terminal tomorrow doing a little laundry and setting the time my trainer will pick me up.

Next updates will be from the road. Hopefully over the next 4 to 5 weeks I can get the downshifting worked out as I know I will get plenty of driving time.

 

Congrats CM. It's one step closer. You will love Millis and the training. Greg is awesome and you'll enjoy having him as your trainer. If I get by Cartersville in the next few weeks I'll stop in and say hey!

Just remember this as a bit of advice........If it dont go in - dont just jam it in. You can tell Greg (David told you to say that). If I heard that one time I heard it a thousand times over the past three weeks from him while we all were driving. LOL!

The Holiday Inn is great - just dont eat the breakfast...that is if you value your stomach! If you like wings, check out "Joes sports bar" (just down from the terminal) best #### wings I have ever had.

Congrats on the start date and the tests. You'll have a blast in Cartersville. Greg (the instructor) is one hell of a great guy. Keep us posted on how things go. I am sure I will be through there sometime and if so will pop in and say hello!

 

I dont know - everyone had either a check or cash. You can call Alice and ask her. If they cant in Cartersville - I know they can in Black River Falls since they took my $100.00 deposit over the phone. Just call them before you go if needed.
