"They" would be architects - and that kind of person is a twisted, mis-guided soul, elisted in the service of Lucifer. Engineers are merely over-educated working guys who received a lobotomy along with a college degree!

I like fender mirrors. They might not look the best but they serve a purpose
johnday Thanks this. -
I learned to drive with the "Mickey Mouse" mirrors in CR England. Any truck I drove there after I felt naked not being able to use them.
When my chance to own comes around, it will have those mirrors. I live by the rule "better to be safe than sorry".johnday Thanks this. -
i have always wondered about the mirror above the passenger window...i have never used it
johnday Thanks this. -
when you have drivers in your trucks you might reconsider the fender mirrors, I never had them on my personal trucks that only I drove, but I would not put my drivers in one without fender mirrors.

It's pretty much useless, unless like another poster said, to check the cap on the fuel tank on the right side!! I guess it's useful to see if your running board is clean or dirty as well.

I love them fender mirrors. I wish I had one on the driver side. If it can help reduce blindspots, im all for'em.....
But I guess thats just the "rookie" in me talkin..... Maybe when I become an "elder" someday, I'll cuss things like that too........johnday Thanks this. -
I flatly don't believe it. For ONCE you said something that I agree with. Does this mean the world is ending today?

I also preferred have the fender mirrors, though I didn't have them on very many trucks. I did have an instance where one of those little window mirrors came in handy though. Stopped at a traffic signal where there was construction going on in the intersection. I was going to have to sort of jig over to the right to get around the construction. Glanced in the window mirror and discovered that a bicyclist had stopped in the blind spot beside me. I would not have known he was there without that little mirror, and could have hit him as I was jigging right.johnday Thanks this. -
Oh snap! I better hurry up and change my post because I can't have anybody agreeing with something I said..... Might hurt my reputaion on here as a rebel!
johnday Thanks this. -
Well, Corneileous, I like them, too. In my book, there's no such thing as a "useless fender mirror".
But, the real question here is........
"Mirror, mirror, on the fender........ who's the best driver in mile-hi Denver?"johnday Thanks this.
