Stay away from anderson trucking

All "Rent a Truck" Lease Contracts are for Dummies.

I'm laughing all the way to the bank on that one. Lease contracts aren't for dummies. That's why so many fail. If you're smart you can do better than most.

 

How is the pad wrap side doing?

H.H. has been messed up this year on some wind jobs.

Ouch. Friend of mine that went through orientation with me says he's doing OK on the HH side...that was a couple weeks ago tho...

Haven't really been hauling much pad-wrap...been mostly expedited freight. Most of the guys I talk to in the van division seem to be doing well.

Somebody had to say it!

 

My boyfriend wants to become a HH driver for Anderson but tells me stories about that company and their big loads that makes me worry. Should I be worried? Sounds like that not only will he not make any money (momma not happy with that), but I'll be worried too.

 

What kind of stories has he been telling you he has heard?

Bed time stories or what?

Like any other job it has it's good and bad.

 

Not make money with Anderson?

Only people that won't make money with ATS are those that have no business sense, and those that don't like to drive.

HH is as safe as the driver that secures the loads. Secured properly, any load is safe. 'Course some people love HH/Flatbed...I ain't one of 'em, lol. ATS van division is fantastic, tho, if he wants to go that route. I reiterate from a previous post tho...if you want to earn money on the van side, make sure JAY is your dispatcher. He's a bit hi-strung and likes to fight...but ###### if he doesn't make you money. A great deal of it if you listen to him, lol...
