Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Depending on the company, and their insurance. It can range from 3-10 years.
Of course, the severity of the charges will play a factor. -
how can i check my driving history?
-
Don't know where your from but in Oklahoma, I can go to any tag agency, pay a fee, and get a copy of my MVR for the last 3 years.
You can also go to the blue section of your phone book, look in the DPS section, and somewhere in there you'll find driver's licensing and they can direct you to the proper place. Good luck. -
take a offensive driven course if they are offered in your state
-
i have one for speeding, one for bumping into somebody's car (no injuries), and one for not stopping at a stop sign (i did stop enough to see that there was no cars, just not a full 0-momentum stop)
Is that serious enough to impedede me getting a job? -
Its defensive driving, offensive is most truck drivers these days...
