I'm 32,500 with a FLD120 and a 45'96" trailer with a lightweight sidekit on it. My tractor alone is over 21k.
According to state permits the tractor only weighs 18k and trailer is 11k...![]()

You shouldn't lie to the state! On my permits there's only about 4 numbers that's correct and 2 of them are the license plates. Trailer grew 2' on paper, tractor also grew a few feet in length and it seems to have put on about 3k lbs since the permit was issued. Permit says 32k and it actually weighs 35k although the Madison county sheriff believed all of it.

I think you're right on the money. It's surprising how things add up: TV, tools, clothes, an extra gallon of oil, corner protectors, paperwork, CB, dunnage, food, etc. etc. The last truck and trailer I sold weighed 2,200# less after I took all my stuff off.

Well Monday I'll get my trailer so I'll find out then just what it weighs I'm also thinking about 35, ready to go. I'll let you know monday night.

I have a 379 265wb, and a 48' combo and I am 32300 so I'm guesing at least 34000 being all steel and those studios are heavy. I'm supprised it only weighs 19,000.

Ok just got back from first run with new (to me) truck with an aluminum flat bed my gross empty weight, ready to load with all the equipment needed and a 1/2 tank of fuel 30765 and thats trailer with a side kit.
Anyhow first trip went well, out to denver. Tomorrow morning i'm loading for dallas tx.
