Royger, I like would like more info, supposed to seal the deal tomorrow. The next time I see a Wel truck I'll try to find out something, they have a drop yard/refrigerated warehouse in Lyndhurst Va maybe I'll stop by there tomorrow. I was told regarding home time that you get 2 days off after 2 weeks out, I asked was that a 34 hour reset she said no.

Ok Mattaponi keep me updated. It seems it's a bit of work just trying to keep a thread open on Wel. I have an offer from another company that pays less money. But I can find all kinds of information on them. But they don't pay as good as Wel does.

I left a note on a Wel truck at Flying J for the driver to call me so I could get more info but so far he hasn't called me back. Keep me updated on your training.

I don't blame him either. That is hilarious. I wouldn't DREAM of knocking on a trucker's door.

    Royger,
Got an orientation date but still undecided, have an appt. with SNI next week and a road test with a smaller co. on Tuesday, same pay and home weekends. We'll see.

    ROYGER!

That was my trk u left the card on, I had taken my daughter to the zoo. When we got back it was late and I think she threw your note away by accident. Trk had sunshades all around and parked closest to the street (Just so u know I'm not full of it)

I love it over here, I got this trk the last week of March and have 55,000 miles on it. I have been with WEL for 2 yrs and I would only leave if I find a local job, hopefully the 1st of the yr. I have never been forced dispatch BUT I do run like a mad man out here. As long as I can safely run I will. It is just like any company, you have your pros and cons. I have seen some of the negative feed back, some true and some comes from whiners. I have a great Driver Manager, she takes #### good care of me. If I feel like am having a slow week all it takes is one message to her and I am running hard. If there is a hot load and I am anywhere close she calls me and ask if I want it. My theory is I do not care about the when and where just give it to me and keep me rolling. Run me hard and get me home when I want to be and that's all I care about.

I was just BS'ing on here when I found this. I don't know how often I will be on here. If I can check it with my phone I will.

Thanks HS2000! I appreciate you getting back with me. You know how it is,... I'm just trying to get as much information as I can. I don't want to go into it blind. Most truckers I have talked to don't have a problem with talking to you.... As a matter of fact the ones I've talked to have been very friendly and they are glad to give you any kind of information you ask for.

Your truck is real nice! I'm just wondering how often you make it out West? It seems very little information has been posted about Wel Co. I'm trying to change that for me and other prospective employees. Unlike some people who are afraid of knocking on a door.

Thanks HS2000, drive safe and we'll talk to you soon.

We have offices in Modesto,Ca and Idaho Falls,Id. Last month I had 3 runs out there, I am out of DFW. Anytime I have ever had a problem it was resolved. Had a bad driver manager for a month, she told me she didn't know what to tell me so I went to her boss. The next day it was resolved. My DM is the Queen B around there, I was on her board, moved to the bad one and then back to the good one.

My peoplenet died so right now I am getting my dispatches by email. Still running smoothly, I will hit our Winter Haven yard tomorrow and it will be fixed. If they know u will run they will stack u up, if u are one of the lazy drivers u will make lazy money. Its pretty simple, ur work ethic determines ur pay check. Like I said, I bust ### out here and my pay checks reflect that. I have 4500 mile weeks at least once a month, average 2500-3000 the rest. I stay out a month at a time by choice. It all depends on you.

My trk is a 2011, had 4 miles on it when I picked it up.

Sweet! Sounds like a good deal. I think I read one drivers comment that he was clearing $1100. a week, and that post was back in 2008.

It sounds like you can run hard and make some good money. I also read on one post that they were pushing the driver to run illegal. Does this happen? I don't want to get in trouble for anyone for any reason.

I was a little leery about going with a company out of Wisconsin. Are you dispatched out of California? You say you stay out one month at a time. Does this mean you get 4 days off or do you ask for an extra day to make it worth being home?
